Hawk's Eye also known as Blue Tiger's eye is a deep blue-grey variety of quartz known for its silky, moving light effect (chatoyancy). It forms when fibrous Crocidolite is gradually replaced by quartz while keeping its original structure. Over time, natural oxidation transforms this blue stone into the golden-brown variety known as tiger’s eye, making blue tiger’s eye the earlier stage in its formation.
Blue Tiger’s Eye is believed to promote calmness, mental clarity, and emotional balance. It is often associated with reducing stress and overthinking, while supporting focus and clear decision-making. Traditionally linked to protection, it is also thought to help shield against negative energy and encourage confidence and inner strength.
